How To Properly Adjust AutoDrill Multiple Spindle Heads

AutoDrill’s adjustable multi-spindle drill heads are designed for simple and accurate adjustments for your drilling patterns. Each of the adjustable multi drill’s turret assemblies are capable of rotating 360 degrees. Adjustable drilling and tapping heads are ideal to replace the old versions of gang drill presses. The multiple spindle drill head adjustment method is illustrated clearly below.

ROTATE EACH SPINDLE EQUALLY TO OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE CENTERLINE
ROTATE EACH SPINDLE EQUALLY TO OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE CENTERLINE
Incorrect Multiple-Spindle Head Adjustment
SPINDLES ARE ROTATED UNEQUALLY TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED SPACING
WHEN THE MULTI-HEAD IS ROTATED TO THE CORRECT ORIENTATION, THE CENTERLINES ARE OFF
