2100 Series AutoDrill

Open Product Catalog

The Series 2100 AutoDrill is based on the Series 2000 unit with the addition of a plunger-style Hydro Speed feed cylinder. This addition overcomes the limitation of simple pneumatic feed control. The two-speed feed rate is standard. The Hydro Speed (sometimes called Hydra-Brake) controls the critical work penetration feed rate and breakthrough process. Check out our videos section for examples of a Hydro Speed in use or see the simple animation below which shows a basic 2100 Series Self-Feed AutoDrill stroking.

The Hydro Speed can be provided in multiple locations. This flexibility is appreciated when drilling closely spaced holes or on special projects where flexibility is critical. It also simplifies maintenance since it can be repositioned or replaced without disturbing the AutoDrill body. The diagram below displays the basic optional locations. (The right side on the self-feeder is always standard)
